Collagen Induction Therapy

Collagen Induction Therapy, also known as micro-needling, is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation procedure that involves the use of a device that contains fine needles. After a numbing agent is applied, the needles are used to puncture the skin to create a controlled skin injury. Each puncture creates a channel that triggers the body to fill the microscopic wound by producing new collagen and elastin.

Through the repair process, there are visible improvements in skin texture and firmness. Reduction in scars, pore size and stretch marks also show improvement.

Clients start seeing the best results 3-12 weeks post treatment and results continue to improve over time. A series of treatments is recommended. The treated skin will have an elevated level of
collagen for 1-3 years depending on the internal health of the client & lifestyle factors.

Unfortunately, we cannot stop our skin from aging so maintenance treatments every 6 months are needed to achieve longer lasting results.
